Four decades of experience, rich in traditional photography, photojournalism, journalism, creative writing, graphic design and computer graphics have prepared self-taught artist Charlie Morey for his latest endeavor, producing fine art prints based on his computer-enhanced digital photographs.

Over the years, Morey's images have won international contests, graced the covers and inside pages of magazines, and appeared in exhibitions in U.S. art galleries. His current camera is a Nikon D100, which he uses to enhance his collections of images from Maine, California, Hawaii and Europe.

He received an Artist-in-Residence award from the non-profit organization Yosemite Renaissance and spent a month capturing the National Park's natural beauty in 2005 for a solo exhibit at the Infusion Gallery called "Digital Yosemite". Morey's images have appeared in the all-media art shows Yosemite Renaissance XX and XXI, held respectively in 2005 and 2006.
